A new leader for our people scientists
We’re delighted to welcome Michael Callans as our new VP of People Science. Aside from being a self-proclaimed People Geek, Michael is an expert in industrial psychology and previously held roles at Wonderlic, Wonderlic Consulting, and Pymetrics. He also founded Psychology.com in 2008, an online directory that enables individuals to search for and connect with licensed therapists in their area.
As VP of People Science at Culture Amp, Michael will head our global team of 25 people scientists and data experts. This interdisciplinary team helps our clients build surveys and analyze results while continuing to develop and perfect our science-backed approach to collecting performance management data and employee feedback.
Looking toward the future
Since being founded, Culture Amp has been committed to building a platform that empowers culture-focused companies and enables our mission of building a better world of work. With the addition of Michael Callans to the Culture Amp family, we’re excited to continue developing our platform and offerings and even better support our customers and community.
As companies continue to work remotely, tracking how employees feel, engage, and perform can be challenging. For company leaders to make informed business and people decisions during the pandemic, they need access to robust people insights and employee feedback to lead their companies successfully and to create a better, safer workplace for their employees.
Recently, our global people science team released a free pulse survey to help managers and leaders evaluate their workplace’s internal response to the COVID-19 pandemic. HR and people leaders can use this tool to identify the top drivers for company confidence building, and whether employees are feeling supported during the COVID-19 pandemic.
