We’re thrilled to share that Culture Amp was recently named on the Forbes 2020 Cloud 100 – the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world. Published by Forbes in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures, the list recognizes companies for their growth, sales, valuation – and most notably for us – their culture.
The 2020 list is filled with businesses that are setting industry benchmarks and creating radical disruption in the workplace. At Culture Amp, we’ve always believed the world needs better places to work — and we’re invigorated to see that we’re not alone in this view. In 2020, culture is front and center like never before. Empathic leadership and communication have emerged as essential to keeping employees engaged and businesses functioning through crises.
Prioritizing culture at scale
While being named to the Cloud 100 is a special moment for Culture Amp, it also highlights the value of the culture first approach and the absolute importance of employee experience in building a great company.
“Now, more than ever, culture needs to come first,” says Didier Elzinga, Culture Amp’s CEO & co-founder. “This recognition validates not only the need out in the world, but in what we have been able to build by making culture the foundation of everything we do.”
“2020 has precipitated a massive acceleration in remote work, forcing teams and organizations to adapt their culture, processes and ways of work.”
A global pandemic, economic recession, racial and climate based crises – these are the challenges we collectively face. Many of the organizations on the Cloud 100 offer novel solutions to these problems, actively working to create a better future.
“Understanding what matters to your people to support engagement, productivity, well-being and ultimately uphold a workplace culture is what will allow companies to respond to what the world is throwing at them.”
We’re proud to be the employee experience platform of choice for many of the world-class brands featured on the Forbes Cloud 100. In fact, Culture Amp is partner to more than half of the organizations on the 2020 list, helping businesses like Canva, Asana, Invision and TalkDesk to put culture first in 2020 and beyond.
This is worth celebrating. It demonstrates that companies and leaders who prioritize culture, and who access engagement and performance data to inform their actions are consistently building high caliber, high performing, industry-leading organizations. We’re incredibly proud of the way Culture Amp is helping these organizations navigate the new world of work and put their people first – not only to survive, but to thrive.
We hope you’ll join us in congratulating all the companies who earned a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 this year. We’re also incredibly grateful to our 400+ employees and 3,000+ customers who have come on this journey with us. They are collectively helping us deliver on our mission: to build a better world of work for everyone.
