Culture Amp, the world’s leading employee experience platform, celebrates its official recertification as a B Corporation (B Corp). Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to high-standard corporate governance and social impact, Culture Amp lifted its assessment score by 10 points, moving from 92 to 102 under B Lab’s increasingly rigorous evaluation standards.
Over the course of the recertification process, Culture Amp prioritised and developed measurable progress across a range of areas, including:
- Philanthropic Infrastructure: Extended product discounts and grants to more than 1,000 customers globally, alongside deploying $225,000 in unrestricted grants to non-profit organizations.
- Sustainability & Environmental Impact: Achieved 100% renewable energy usage across direct operations, while simultaneously reducing overall emissions by 24%. Culture Amp also aligned sustainability and philanthropic commitments by contributing to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led organizations such as the Australian Carbon Foundation and First Nation’s Clean Energy Network.
- Equity & Inclusion: Measured and materially improved the experience of Black and disabled employees, while ensuring employee resources groups (ERGs) were supported by dedicated executive sponsorship.
- Responsible AI Governance: Formally achieved ISO 42001 certification, validating the security, transparency and ethical management of Culture Amp’s AI management systems.
“We’re proud to achieve this recertification, and we view our 10-point increase as more than just a milestone to be celebrated. It’s a hard lead indicator of our operational discipline,” explains Chief People & Customer Experience Officer, Justin Angsuwat. “This result reflects Culture Amp’s sustained investment in how we operate: building a business designed to create value for our employees, customers, communities, and the planet.”
Culture and Performance, Unified
In Culture Amp’s research covering more than 1,000 companies and nearly 400,000 employees worldwide, employees who perceive their company’s commitment to sustainability as genuine reported engagement levels that were 16 percentage points higher than those who did not. This effect remains consistent across demographics, reinforcing a simple yet important employer advantage: employees actively look to support and stay with values-aligned organizations.
“Our B Corp recertification reinforces that commercial discipline and human impact are not competing priorities,” adds Angsuwat. “A high performance culture requires a strong, trusted infrastructure. The same actions that make a company more responsible can also help create the conditions for stronger engagement, better recruitment and retention, and more sustainable performance over time.”
