Gia DeMichele
Senior People Scientist, Culture Amp
Gia DeMichele, Ph.D., is a Senior People Scientist at Culture Amp, supporting customers in North America. Her doctoral dissertation focused on peer accountability in healthcare to help uncover insights into what allows peers to provide feedback to one another. In previous roles, Gia worked as a Division Director for a healthcare company to create a culture of high reliability that put safety first.
Gia received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Positive Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University in California. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Davidson College in North Carolina.
Gia’s interests and speaking topics include: the importance of organizational culture, high reliability and safety, engagement as a foundation for cultural growth and change, peer accountability/feedback, and how leaders can own their organization/team’s culture.
