The employee experience platform
In this blog
Culture Amp's Perform platform has already helped thousands of organizations transform their approaches to employee development and performance. Now, we’re taking that commitment even further with our 2025 product updates.
What’s new in Perform?
Built on our people science expertise and customer feedback from HR leaders, this update makes our already powerful platform even more impactful with streamlined performance management workflows and more targeted insights.
Explore the new features and capabilities that help HR practitioners quickly and easily launch performance cycles, with an experience that supports managers and their employees to have more effective performance review conversations and outcomes.
Unified cycles make performance cycle setup faster and easier
In the past, creating a comprehensive performance review meant setting up separate workflows for each unit. The refreshed Perform experience introduces unified cycles that simplify this process while maintaining flexibility.
Now, you can manage all review units in one unified workflow. This streamlined approach allows you to:
- Integrate self-reflections, peer feedback, upward feedback, and manager reviews in one workflow.
- Run your performance cycles in multiple languages. Seamless multilingual capabilities allow employees and managers to complete performance reviews in their preferred language.
- Reduce administrative complexity with flexible review setup in one centralized location that adapts to your organization’s unique needs and eliminates scattered admin tasks.
- Fix typos or make minor changes without disrupting live cycles by editing review questions after a cycle has launched.
- Take control of your communication strategy with customizable communication workflows. Tailor notifications and reminders to match your organization’s tone of voice and feedback processes.
Unified cycles free up valuable time for people professionals while creating a more intuitive experience for managers and employees alike.

Elevated flexibility and insights
Making informed decisions about your people relies on having the right data at the right time. The refreshed Perform experience enhances your ability to access, analyze, and act on your performance data.
One of the most-requested features – enhanced data exporting – is live with this update. This means you can:
- Instantly export data in both Excel and CSV formats directly within the platform, giving you flexibility in how you analyze and share performance data. There’s no need to wait for the system to email you these files.
- Find exactly what you need with advanced search and sorting capabilities on the cycle dashboard page, so you can quickly locate specific data.
- Get a comprehensive view of your review progress with clearer dashboards that provide at-a-glance insights into completion rates and participation.
- Consolidate multilingual insights so you don’t have to spend hours combining and consolidating information from each language unit. All of this data is presented in a single cycle view, allowing HR teams and decision-makers to view performance data in seconds.

Whether you want to identify development opportunities, recognize high performers, or isolate trends across teams, Perform’s new features give you the flexibility and visibility to act with confidence.
Precision feedback and calibration
Accurate, nuanced performance feedback and fair calibration processes are essential building blocks for employee trust. The latest update enhances both the precision and efficiency of performance management.
- Provide more accurate and thoughtful feedback with editable peer and upward feedback that allows contributors to clarify or correct their submissions after initial completion.
- Calibrate feedback effectively with the flexibility to select and deselect specific individuals from calibration views.
- Analyze performance data your way with improved filtering options and the ability to view information in both table and graph formats.
With these enhancements, managers can make better-informed decisions, and employees can trust that their performance is evaluated fairly and consistently.
Coming soon in Perform
Performance management isn’t a one-size-fits-all process, which is why we plan to continue rolling out new features that adapt to your organization's evolving needs. Here’s a glimpse at what to expect for the rest of 2025.
Introducing Culture Amp AI
By combining AI with our deep expertise in people science, Culture Amp helps organizations drive meaningful, lasting change at scale. Powered by 1.3 billion data points and a decade of research into top-performing teams, upcoming AI features in Perform include: `
AI Suggested Improvements to help managers improve the quality of their feedback
Do managers come to you for coaching on “how to say the right thing”?
This feature analyzes a manager’s written feedback and provides suggestions to make it more actionable, specific, and balanced. This helps managers – whether they’re experienced but overwhelmed or new to managing employees – ensure consistent, balanced, high-quality performance reviews.
This feature is optional, and Perform admins will be able to choose to switch it on at a company level, giving HR teams control over when to roll out AI features to their workforces.
AI Feedback Summaries to help managers summarize feedback faster
Distilling employee performance down to a review takes effort and practice. If your company does annual reviews, managers must summarize 12 months of feedback, identifying where an employee shines and opportunities for growth and improvement.
Feedback Summaries consolidate feedback received across all Perform units and Shoutouts captured throughout the review period. This time-saving feature frees managers to focus on the quality of their review feedback and removes the risk of recency bias.
Meeting the changing needs of modern workplaces
Our team is working on new enterprise features for larger companies with more complex needs. Later in 2025, we plan to offer:
- More flexible review types tailored to specific milestones (time-based reviews such as probation and anniversary reviews)
- Better support for calibration participants and facilitators with rating previews, giving the facilitator the information and preparation they need to host more effective calibrations
Connecting performance to potential
While the refreshed Perform experience introduces several changes, our mission remains the same: helping organizations unlock the full potential of their people. At its core, Perform strengthens your ability to develop your people and drive strategic outcomes. It enables you to:
- Transform raw data into strategic talent decisions with updated performance analytics that provide deeper insights into skill gaps, high-potential employees, and development opportunities across teams.
- Ensure performance reviews aren’t seen as routine tasks but as meaningful and productive conversations that help align individual action to strategic goals.
- Empower leaders with more powerful and actionable insights through intuitive dashboards and reports that highlight key trends and opportunities for team development.
- Identify retention risks by connecting Perform data with engagement metrics through seamless integration with Culture Amp Engage, allowing you to spot patterns between performance ratings and engagement levels.
By connecting performance data with employee potential, Culture Amp helps you leverage a more holistic view of your talent landscape and organizational initiatives and build a high-performance culture.
The refreshed Perform experience makes reviews easier, while transforming how you understand and develop your most valuable asset: your people.
